New stuff:
-1 new region, 2 new trainers, 3 new starter Pokemon, and 69 new Pokemon
-The new type which can kick Dragon butt finally, you hear that, the Dragon types got dethroned by the new type: Fairy type(Examples: Jigglypuff, Clefairy)
-Mega Evolutions that boost up Attack. Kinda like steroids for Pokemon.
-3D, a Pokemon lovers dream... These are the first Pokemon Video games in history to be 3D. Unless you made one and didn't share it with us.
-6 Pokemon battle, now you can have all your Pokemon in the game.
-Choosing Pokemon Music, hearing the usual music going on and on can get boring, but now you can choose from multiple tracks.
-Friend Code Dynasty! The more Friend Codes you have the more chances of finding new Pokemon.
-Character Customization! You hate what your person looks like? Now you can customize yourself and can buy some clothes with it.
-The beast awoken! After 6 generations Snorlax is actually standing! He's awake and ready to kick some butt!
-New ways to travel the land. I hated always riding one transportation, now that all changes, more transportation devices
-Air Battles. Nothing better than an Air Battle in the morning.
-New Villains. Team Flare.
Story:
When you start the game, the game asks if you are a boy, or a girl. You make your choice, enter your name and then you are a thrown into your bedroom. You are a new in town who is given a Pokédex by professor Sycamore(notice how all the professors are name of trees) who then sends you off on a journey to complete it. You are called to investigate some mystery about mega-evolution. At the same time, you collect eight gym badges to complete in the Pokémon league, and become the champion after challenging the elite four.
You also encounter Team Flare.There's more but I don't want to spoil everything.
